Natalee and Carson bravely take on a trip with the grandparents!

 

Of course, if you start with food that's always a winner.

The Pink Coral Sand Dunes near Kanab.  To my designer eye that is not pink - but they say if the light is just right at a certain time of day they do look more pink!

 

The Hollywood Museum.  Apparently these were sets used on some of the wetern movies that had been shot in the area.  We told the kids if they didn't behave we would put Carson in jail and make Natalee do all the laundry.  They were good as gold the rest of the trip!

We stoppped for ice-cream at the three bears cottage.  They were not at home and we didn't break baby bear's chair.

150 species of Cacti and three hours later Grandpa wanted to do one more loop.

We compromised, we would do one more loop but when we went shopping he had to do one more loop too!

 

 

He kept his word!  Only one more store to go at the outlet mall.

 

 

 

 

 

The quirky town of Sedona.  We gave up counting the pink jeeps after we got to 30!

 

 

The Grand Finale!

The Grand Canyon was number one on everyone's list of things we did this trip.

 

 

 

Oh yea!  We've still got it.  The grandparents out last the kids.
